Sam Levora continued to impress this year, placing 4th and running a 15:48 to break his own school record. Senior Tim Prummer was next in an 18:02, followed by freshman Mark Kennaly (18:34), Adam Bourn (18:58), John Nicolich (19:01), Matt Cloud (19:14), and Daryl Zavala (19:16). The boys placed 14th in the meet and improved their pack time to an 18:05 (17:52 with JV runners included) as they continue with the Regional Cross Country meet in mind.
The girls race was exciting, with Mikhaela Woodward moving up to #8 on the all time list with a 20:22 by placing 25th in the race, and Sydney Foster not far behind in 31st place, moving up to #13 with a time of 20:40. Emily Marshal was next with a 21:27, followed by Claire Pierce (21:44), Jacey Lawson (22:03), Aubrie Perry (22:09) and Kara Bruce (22:13). The girls placed 7th in the meet, their highest since 2007, and ran a pack time of 21:15.
For the JV teams, Alan Orr ran a great race, placing 13th in a time of 18:10. Other great boys performances were freshman Jacob Graham (18:47), sophomore Andy McGinnis (18:53), sophomore Sam Powell (19:07), and sophomore Chris Cordova (19:52). The boys placed 5th in the race. Bree Jones led the ladies JV in a time of 22:15, followed closely by freshman Treva Nostdahl running a 22;16. Freshman Corrine McClelland continued to run well with a 22:41, and Cymbre Martin ran a 23:21. The girls place 4th in the meet.
