Alan Orr and Matt Burgstahler named Salutatorians

Sandpoint High School announced the top academic students for the class of 2014. Alan Orr and Matt Burgstahler earned the co-salutatorian award. Alan is a 2 year Cross Country letterman and in his second year of track after moving to Sandpoint before his Junior year. Matt is currently in his 4th year with the distance track corps, where he has lettered and gone to State each year.

Alan recently was accepted to both the US Naval Academy and the US Air Force Academy. He made his decision and will be going to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD next year. Matt has narrowed his schools, having been accepted to both St. Johns and Carroll College where he is planning to study Pre-Med. We applaud academic success and are proud of their hard work and dedication these past 4 years.
