Sandpoint Home Meet

Sandpoint hosted their home meet this Thursday, and the distance core had very good results, especially for early April.
For the girls, Mikhaela Woodward won the 1600 in a 5:31, setting up for a 1,2,3 Sandpoint sweep with Claire Pierce placing second in 5:45 and Sydney Foster 3rd in 5:47. In the 800 Rainey Woodward won with a 2:25, followed by Bree Jones with a 2:37 for second place. And in the 3200 Mikhaela Woodward was first again with an 11:49, followed by Sydney Foster in 2nd with a 12:27 PR.
For the Boys, Sam Levora won the mile in a 4:20. Alan Orr was 5th in a 4:58, and Jacob Graham 6th with a 4:59. Matt Burgstahler won the 800 with a 2:01.3, and Jacob Graham was 2nd in the 3200 with a 10:49, followed by teammate Sam Powell in 5th with a 11:09
