2015 Jacey's Race

SHSXC had a strong showing at this years Jacey's Race in Sandpoint. Sam Levora won the race with a time of 15:39, setting the overall course record at the same time. Following close behind was Matt Burgstahler in 2nd with a time of 16:17, and rounding out the top three was Jacob Graham with a 16:46. Also in the top group was Clay Rasmussen in 5th with an 18:10. For the women's race, incoming freshman Niah Brass ran a 21:45 to place 3rd.

You can’t become a winner overnight or even in a couple of years- it takes time… You will lose races and you will have to accept that, learn from it and believe that you will win the next one, knowing that you will probably lose that as well.
