The Sandpoint girls varsity placed 7th out of 17 at the Spokane Valley Invitational this weekend. The team was led by Megan Bartlett who 2nd in the race with a time of 19:14. Kat Vardell was 20th with a 20:57 and Molly Burgstahler was 22 with a 21:02. Vicky Vardell, Sarah Addington, Danette Mauck and Calena Lawson rounded out the team.
For the boys team, Danny Pfeifer led the team with a 17:58. Tim Householter was next with a 18:12. The were followed by a close pack of Mat Sisson, Evan Rains, Jerry Prummer Kevin Pfeier, and Galen MacDonald. The boys placed 10th out of 22 teams.
In JV Action, the boys placed 5th out of 14 and girls were 7th out of 10. Emily Thompson and Delaina Hawkins led the girls pack and worked their way onto Varsity, and Tony Charvoz was 2nd in the the boys race with a time of 18:05. Mason Foster was next for the team and also earned his way onto varsity for the next race.
