Bonners Ferry Invitational

The Sandpoint Boys Varsity and JV teams won this weekend at the Bonners Ferry Invitational. The Varsity boys have 6 in the top 10, scoring 19 points to win the meet. Danny Pfeifer led the way for the team with a 17:49, followed closely by Jimmy Matthews at a 18:03. Evan Rains, Alex Charvoz and Mason Foster rounded out the top 5. The boys top 5 time spread was only 1:41.

In the JV race, Sam Levora was 1st with a 20:05 in leading the boys to a first place finish. Riley Hadeen was 3rd with a 20:59.

The Sandpoint girls varsity placed 2nd behind Timberlake. Molly Burgstahler placed 2nd overall (22:53) to pace the girls. Aubrie Perry, Becca Cloud, Devan Fitzpatrick and Sydney Foster rounded out the top 5 for the team.

In the JV race the girls had the only full team, and were paced by the 1st place finish of Marisa Rains in a time of 25:46, as well as Serena Fisher in 2nd and Bre Jones in 3rd.
