Burgstahler 13th at State Meet

Molly Burgstahler placed 13th at the State meet today, qualifying her for all state (top 20) team this weekend in Soda Springs. She ran the 5k, 6000ft elevation course in a 21:12 to finish of a stellar high school career. She was followed by Aubrie Perry, Sydney Foster, Calena Lawson and Jenny Van Ooyen, Miranda Ewing and Davon Fitzpatrick, who ran a gutsy race after being sick all week.

The Sandpoint Boys Cross Country team placed 7th this weekend in a very competitive field of team, paced by Danny Pfeifer in 21st. Evan Rains and Sam Levora ran a fantastic placing 29th and 32nd, followed by Jimmy Matthews, Alex Charvoz, Mason Foster and Matt Pfeifer.

This wraps up the 2010 Sandpoint High School Cross Country season. Thanks for all the runners who came out for the team this year and good luck next season.
